Happy Mother's Day to me

Yesterday the family let me stay in bed until 10:42 a.m.! It was glorious. I had gotten up and was getting dressed when Nathaniel came in the room.

He put his hands on his hips and said, "WELL. I guess we'll have to make you waffles for SUPPER instead!"


Oops. I guess they were planning to make breakfast for me. Maybe next year! Sleeping in was an even better gift.


Here are some questions I posted last year or year before last, and when a friend posted them online last week, it reminded me I needed to pull them out again. This time, Jakey was old enough to participate!

Jake: A baby!

Jake: 8!

Jake: Ride in Mommy's car!

Jake: We're two Jakeys!
Nicholas: We both have brown hair and brown eyes.

Jake: You wear clothes and I wear PJs!
Nicholas: You have a laptop and I don't.
Nathaniel: You're a girl and I'm a boy.

Jake: Kisses! And hugs!
Nicholas: When you say you love me and when you give us cards.
Nathaniel: You say you love us.

Jake: On flying horsies!
Nicholas: Not McDonald's. Um, Zaxby's.
